- Product Overview -

            Bai-link With the increasing prevalence of fiber optic networks, high-speed broadband via fiber to the home (FTTH) has benefited the general public. FTTH involves optical transmission, specifically PON transmission. PON is a typical passive optical network, a point-to-multipoint fiber optic access technology consisting of an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) on the central office side, an ONU (Optical Network Unit) on the user side, and an ODN (Optical Distribution Network). In a PON transmission system, PON optical modules are indispensable.

            Common PON modules in GPON transmission include SFP GPON OLT, SFP GPON ONU, and SFP GPON ONU STICK. The SFP GPON OLT module is primarily used on the PON optical ports of the OLT; the SFP GPON ONU module is mainly used on the optical ports of the ONU device or the uplink ports of the PON repeater device; the SFP GPON ONU STICK, commonly known as a modem stick, is commonly used in end-user routing devices and functions similarly to an optical modem (ONU).
